I was born and raised in Chicago and spent most of my childhood and adult life there. I hold a BA in Political Science, an MBA in Marketing, an MA in Religion and a CAS in Business Education which required 33 semester hours of doctoral-level work.

I have worked as a Production Planner, Field Sales Engineer, Customer Service Manager and a Senior Management Consultant. I also spent 28 years at FedEx Express where I worked as a Senior Marketing Specialist, a Senior Training Specialist and a Senior Manager of Training.

I taught Management, Marketing and Economics on the campus of University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois for 6 years and have been involved in the world of online higher education since 2004 at Western Governors University, University of Phoenix, Argosy University, Cornerstone University, Ashford University, New Charter University, Patten University and, of course, John F. Kennedy University.

My lovely wife and I currently live in Northeast Florida in the small beachside community of Amelia Island where I enjoy playing the drums, guitar, bass, flight simulation and amateur (ham) radio.
