Lisa Cooke

Executive Producer, Green Ray Media
Workshop leader, Lisa Cooke, has honed a deep knowledge of story through her extensive career as a creative producer, story consultant, screenwriter, actor and a veteran producer of visual media. Firmly believing that effective communication is vital to non-profit success, she founded Green Ray Media, and uses story, video, and animation to create visual storytelling for numerous organizations, such as the Hewlett Foundation, Charles Armstrong School, LBNL, DOPH, Citizen’s Climate Lobby, Center for Carbon Removal, Lincoln Child Center, Global Community College, etc. In the entertainment industry she has consulted with such clients as Pixar Animation, Lucasfilm, Fox, Nickelodeon Films, ABC, CBS, Tippett Studios, Paramount and Universal Studios and has taught story structure at the SF Academy of Art, JFK University and Ex’pression College for Digital Arts. She currently serves as 1st Vice Chair on the Visual Effects Society Board of Directors and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild.
