One of the world’s leading elite mental training coaches, Graham Betchart, will join us for the winter installment of the Grand Rounds lecture series. Betchart will share highlights from his unique career path including his work with NBA superstars and his entrepreneurial work creating companies and programs offering mental skills training to the business world, Silicon Valley, and beyond. He will also share best practices cultivated over decades of mental skills training work.

“My work is to help people maintain their energy as they go about the process of being human,” explains Betchart. “I teach people how to proactively work on mental skills everyday so that in a crisis they are able to respond with those skills rather than just react. This training comes in handy not just for athletes but for anyone who finds themselves in an emotionally vulnerable situation where the stakes are high, where they’re dealing with setbacks, where they can’t be perfect. I help people to thrive rather than just survive.”

An exciting new community resource geared toward connecting local residents to cutting edge topics in psychology, healthcare, and mental health, the Grand Rounds lecture series features experts working at the forefront of their fields. The series is not just for students, but open to the general public. Join us for this exciting winter installment!
