What is happening in philanthropy this year? What are the trends and major changes? Most importantly, how will they impact your organization and its existing and potential donors?

The Giving USA report is in and as always, it’s a lot of information to process. We hope you’ll join us to do it together. This month, the Sanford Institute of Philanthropy at John F. Kennedy University has invited Rick Happy, international philanthropic leader and Principal and Managing Director of CCS Fundraising, to help us analyze and interpret what it all means for you, your organization, and your donors. “His role is to unpack all the data in the report and make it real,” explains Solomon Belette, Director of the Sanford Institute.

A year has gone by since the tax reform. Whereas last year we focused on anticipating the changes, now is our chance to take stock of how those shifts have played out and how we can attune our organizations to them. Happy will help us process what has changed and help us plan how to adapt accordingly. See you there!
