Join the Expressive Arts Cohort in the Masters of Holistic Counseling Psychology program at John F. Kennedy University for a playful experience in the arts open to all students. No art experience is necessary! This workshop will be a lighthearted, hands-on exploration in the medium of your choice, from clay to writing, to mask-decorating to movement. There is no right answer! There is only the opportunity to connect to yourself in a way that is fun, safe, and likely a refreshing reprieve from the pressures of student life.

“Often, the school environment requires us to shape a certain identity that assures others that we are intelligent, innovative, capable, or successful, and we can lose touch with our true self or begin to lose the flexibility to transform ourselves,” says Jacinta Sutphin, a student in the Expressive Arts Therapy Program. “The expressive arts provide a powerful opportunity to reconnect to your essential self and your unlimited capacity to creatively transform. Come for self-care, stay for the new insight!”

See you there!
