This online course provides an introduction to the essential interventions typically used in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). Post-doctoral participants with limited experience practicing CBT will expand their repertoire of skills for eliciting and working with distorted cognitions, assumptions and core beliefs. Participants will also learn key CBT interventions in emotion regulation and be introduced to exposure and response prevention principles. The course material will be clinically applicable so that participants can begin using these CBT skills immediately in their own practice.
This course has audio/visual components and text content divided into 4 lessons. You will see and listen to lectures and be directed to read text materials and watch videos. The quizzes and final exam may be repeated as necessary. Videos are not closed captioned.
