Margi English has worked in both the private and nonprofit sectors. A former film producer at Lumina Pictures, LLC, Margi transitioned to a career in nonprofit funding and development as executive director of development and communications for Santa Clara University’s Jesuit School of Theology. She served as interim director of development for the San Francisco Film Society before joining the St. Vincent de Paul Society in February of 2013. At St. Vincent de Paul, she is responsible for the management of four large programs in San Francisco: the largest single adult homeless shelter, a domestic violence shelter, domestic violence transitional housing, and a community drop-in center. Ms. English earned her graduate degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and completed the Executive Nonprofit Leadership Program and received a Bachelor of Science degree in organizational behavior and leadership from the University of San Francisco. She currently holds certifications in CFRE, PHR, and PMP.
