CNS5286 World Spirituality

Course Description

What paths lie ahead for religion and spirituality in the 21st Century?

How might the insights of modernity and post-modernity impact, inform, and complement humanity's ancient wisdom traditions?

How are we to enact, together, new evolutionary, integral, participatory spiritual visions and contemplative practices – independently, or within or across our respective traditions – that can respond adequately to the personal, social, and planetary challenges of our times?

This experientially focused course will explore these questions through an integral selection of readings, meditations, personal and group inquiries, fieldwork exercises, and rituals.
