PSD7025 Child and Adolescent Issues: Psychopathology and Treatment

Course Description

This course exposes students to a range of psychological disorders of childhood and adolescence and their corresponding evidenced-based treatment modalities. Differential diagnosis of symptomatic behaviors in the context of clinical, developmental, cultural, and psychosocial factors will be emphasized. This course teaches students to critically assess the effectiveness of treatment modalities in the clinical setting with diverse populations of children and adolescents.
