This course covers the fundamental concepts of employment law while examining the entire employeremployee relationship. The course starts with an examination of the prohibition of workplace discrimination, then moves to the hiring of employees, the managing of employees, and then to the ultimate decision to end the employer-employee relationship. Learners will also be required to complete practical assignments that are routinely handled by paralegals working in an employment law practice.
