Dr. Donna Schaeffer has taught technology and management courses at universities in the United States, Germany, and Korea, and has won awards for outstanding teaching three times throughout her academic career.
Most of Dr. Donna's managerial and professional career has been spent on information technology projects in hospitals and medical offices. She was part of the team that designed and installed Cisco's first enterprise-wide Voice Over Internet Protocol. Currently, she is a participant on the Internet Advisory Caucus for the U.S. Congress and a member of the Business Advisory Forum of the United Nations.
Dr. Donna has published over 75 articles and book chapters. She currently serves as editor of The Journal of Service Science. Dr. Donna is a member of, and has held leadership positions in, several professional computing and civic associations, including the Consortium for Computing Sciences, Decision Sciences Institute, National Disaster Preparedness Coalition, World Affairs Council, and the Women’s High Tech Coalition.
