What is happening in philanthropy this year? What are the trends and major changes? Most importantly, how will they impact your organization and its existing and potential donors?
The data has been gathered and the Giving USA report is in, but it’s a lot to take on. This month, the Sanford Institute of Philanthropy at John F. Kennedy University has invited Rick Happy, international philanthropic leader and Principal and Managing Director of CCS Fundraising, to help us analyze and interpret what it all means for you, your organization, and your donors. “His role is to unpack all the data in the report and make it real,” explains Solomon Belette, Director of the Sanford Institute. Along with a panel of local experts, Happy will let us know what we can expect as well as how to adapt to changes in the philanthropic landscape.
This year in particular, with the recent tax reform, we can definitely expect to see some major shifts. Join us to get in tune with the changes and equip your organization to successfully navigate whatever new terrain lies ahead.
