Developing an Effective Stewardship Campaign

Pleasant Hill - Main University Campus 100 Ellinwood Way

November 29, 2018 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The more the donor market place continues to shift and change, the more effective stewardship must come to the forefront as an indispensable practice worth taking the time to develop and hone.

“We need to begin thinking of stewardship in a more systematic way, as a well thought-out strategy,” urges Solomon Belette, Director of the Sanford Institute of Philanthropy at John F. Kennedy University. Effective stewardship is essential for new donor acquisition but also for existing donor retention, which is absolutely key in an unpredictable donor landscape.

In this seminar, hosted by the Sanford Institute of Philanthropy at JFK University, we will explore what it looks like to go beyond the casual followup and identify the components of a strategic stewardship campaign, including discerning the difference between stewarding the donor and stewarding the gift. Join us to gain critical insights and techniques for developing, or strengthening, your stewardship efforts.
