John F. Kennedy University awards a variety of scholarships to its new and continuing students. The criteria and timing of these awards vary; see the application materials below or contact the appropriate school for more information.

All University
Please check with the JFKU FA Office for availability of funds for these scholarships -
- Transfer Scholarship - $5,000 awards are available to California Community College students transferring to JFK University to enroll in a Bachelor's completion program. The application form is available here.
- The Alice Walker Scholarship - rewards students of color who have been traditionally underrepresented in higher education and who have demonstrated a dedication to personal growth and leadership through their commitments to family, community, education and/or work. The application form is available here.
- Jacqueline Kennedy Scholarship Fund - $3,000 scholarships are available to women students who have financial need and are enrolled at least half-time in a JFK University degree program. Full information is available here.
School of Law
- First-Year Scholarships - awarded annually to entering law students, these scholarships cover partial to complete tuition costs. Awards are based on merit, past academic performance, and LSAT scores.
- Second-Year Scholarships - these awards cover full tuition for top performing first year law students.

- Leaders Scholarship - an annual award of up to $1,000, available to BSBA and MBA students.
- Bruce Bagnell Scholarship - awarded annually to students of color enrolled in a degree program. Awards range from $500 to $1,000.
- Handlery Scholarship - an annual award of up to $1,000; students enrolled in all degree programs may apply.
- Gloria Morrison Career Development Scholarship - available to students in the Career Development Program, to enable attendance at the Career Development Summer Institute.
- Sue Aiken Scholarship - available to students enrolled in a Career Development degree program. Application materials are available here.

Education
- Urban Teacher Scholarships - the Department of Education offers $7,500 scholarships for students who have experience in urban settings and plan to teach in an urban school. Scholarship recipients receive tuition assistance to be used during the student teaching portion of their training. The department encourages applications from students in ethnic groups traditionally under-represented in K-12 teaching.

The Department of Museum Studies (School of Education and Liberal Arts) presents three annual awards to outstanding graduates:
- Joy E. Feinberg Award for Outstanding Leadership in Museum Studies
- Gail Anderson Award for Scholarship in Museums and Social Responsibility
- Ted Greenberg Award for Outstanding Contribution to Collections Management
Nominations are determined by Museum Studies faculty members.
