Academic Support Center Hours

From breaking through writer's block to the nitty-gritties of semicolons, the Academic Support Center will help improve your writing.

One-on-One Sessions with a Writing Instructor

  • Come in with a draft: Receive feedback on both the strengths and weaknesses of your paper, including suggestions for how to revise.

  • Come in without a draft: Before you start writing, we can discuss your assignment and the difficulties it presents. We can also brainstorm ideas together while developing a writing plan.

  • Come in without a clue: Even if you haven't written a paper since the dinosaurs roamed the earth, make an appointment. We can talk about the faculty's basic expectations and discuss strategies for getting started.

Schedule:

We are open six days a week, Monday through Saturday:

    On-site in Pleasant Hill, six days a week
    On-site in Campbell, Thursdays
    On-site in Berkeley, Tuesdays
