Certificate Pgms

The School of Management offers two certificate programs:

  • Graduate Certificate in Career Development
  • Paralegal Certificate

Graduate Certificate in Career Development

    The Graduate Certificate in Career Development provides advanced training for professional counselors, therapists, teachers, human resource practitioners and others who wish to develop their skills in career planning, increase their professional effectiveness and widen their personal horizons. The basic certificate consists of 26 graduate units, and may be completed in approximately one year. Applicants should have a master's degree in a counseling-related field. Students who enter the program without the relevant counseling background must take two additional 3-unit courses: Career Counseling Interview and Professional Orientation Practicum.

Paralegal Certificate

    The Paralegal Certificate Program consists of 36-quarter units and can be completed in less than one year if the student attends full-time, taking 4 courses a quarter. Students must have an associate degree or a bachelor's degree to be admitted to the program.

    This certificate can be earned in conjunction with a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies.
