Course Description

Pre-requisite required: Foundations of Buddhist Psychology I (Theory)

In order to develop wisdom and compassion that are necessary for practice, Buddhist psychologists must both awaken their minds and fully open their hearts. Often referred to as the Two Wings, these essential qualities are cultivated through mind training. In this course, participants will explore Eight Point Mind Training as a way to train one’s mind in wisdom and compassion. Buddhist psychological interventions for working with disturbing emotions will be also presented and practiced.

This class can be taken as a standalone or as part of our Buddhist Psychology workshop series. Click here for information about the series.
