Course Description

In this highly experiential class, participants with previous experience with Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), will have the opportunity to enhance their technique and delivery of EFT. Through instruction, demonstrations and practice, participants will learn ways to improve their case conceptualization and move beyond the mechanical use of EFT, as well as how to use EFT for issues that are difficult to measure. Other popular energy psychology techniques will also be introduced.

Participants will leave with an Energy Psychology “Stress Relief Toolkit” of techniques for therapist self-care and client home use.

Prerequisite: Energy Psychology: Mind/Body
Techniques for Emotional Management or equivalent training in basic Emotional Freedom Techniques.

Instructor Biography

Carol Odsess, PhD, is a licensed psychologist with a private practice in Albany. Her work emphasizes EMDR and the energy psychology method, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). Carol is both an EMDRIA approved consultant in EMDR and an EMDRIA certified clinician. She is also an advanced practitioner and trainer of EFT.
