Course Description

Authentic Movement is a form of dance/movement therapy: a meditation in movement, a dialogue between mover and witness, a relationship formed within the intrapsychic and interpersonal space, and a bridge between the conscious and the unconscious built on the wisdom of body/mind/spirit. In this introductory course, participants will learn an embodied practice of awareness, focus, attention, and expression which will enhance their capacity to see, hear, understand and support clients.

Please Note: There is a $5 in-class materials fee.

This class can be taken as a stand-alone course or as part of our Expressive Arts certificate program. For information about our Expressive Arts certificate, click here.
