Course Description

This course is designed for clinicians who would like to witness the EMDR process first hand. Through extensive use of video and live demonstration, participants will observe the mechanisms that enable EMDR to produce deep change in a relatively short time. They will gain an understanding of the adaptive information processing model on which EMDR is based and a sense of how it is applied. Subtle agents of change which are inherent in successful EMDR processing will also be explained and demonstrated.

This introductory class is available to people of all levels of experience with EMDR, including those with no previous exposure. Participants need not be clinicians.

Please Note:If you are interested in being trained to use EMDR clinically, please review the new EMDRIA requirements. Students who decide to continue their EMDR training after taking this course will be eligible for a 10% discount off of EMDR I & EMDR II.
