These seminars are a key component of the PsyD program, combining coursework and practicum throughout the student's experience, focusing on working with diverse populations, group process and group supervision. Cohesive groups with up to 10 students and a professor meet together over three consecutive quarters each year. The setting is a supportive one in which students integrate readings and didactice material while sharing their practica experience. Faculty
Core and adjunct faculty members of the PsyD program work in the community - administering clinics or programs, maintaining private practices, consulting, or serving in various other community settings. They bring their passion and commitment into the classroom and provide students with real life examples of the various roles available to them as future practitioners.
