Campbell Campus Program

Campbell fount

The Graduate School of Professional Psychology began its offerings at the Campbell campus in 1988. We emphasize each student's personal development and expertise in working with others. Our curriculum is experiential with small, interactive classes. Programs are built on the students' life experiences to stimulate personal growth, develop professional competence and increase sensitivity to social problems and the value of community service. We encourage clinical training at the John F. Kennedy University Community Counseling Center in Sunnyvale, where students provide low-cost counseling services to children, adults, couples, families, and groups.

The Graduate School of Professional Psychology at Campbell currently offers a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with in:

  • Couple & Family Therapy
  • Expressive Arts
  • Child and Adolescent Therapy

As part of our commitment to helping students, graduates and alumni meet practicum hours and continuing education requirements for licensure, the Graduate School of Professional Psychology offers an ongoing Didactic Training Series at the Pleasant Hill campus that covers specialized topics in the field of psychology. CEUs are available for each session for a small fee through JFKU's Continuing & Extended Education. Lectures are also open to community members and MFT's and LCSW's in private practice.
