BA Psychology - Campbell

Welcome! The B.A. completion program in Psychology at the Campbell campus is an innovative program that allows students to begin as juniors if they have already accumulated 90 credits elsewhere. It is specifically designed for people who wish to pursue graduate degrees and possible state licensure as Marriage and Family Therapists, or as psychologists.

Using a humanistic, philosophical perspective, the program prepares students to appreciate the capacity, potential and dignity of all individuals. At the same time, the program employs a critical thinking approach to question the traditional assumptions of historical and contemporary psychology.

Up to 24 elective units in the bachelor's degree program may be taken in one of the following master's degree counseling psychology programs at our Campbell campus:

  • MA Counseling Psychology
  • MA Counseling Psychology, Holistic Studies Specializtion

In addition to linking these graduate programs, the B.A. Completion program offers:

  • Small seminar-like classes.
  • Personalized instruction.
  • Full student participation in the learning experience.
  • Classes that scheduled in the late afternoons and evenings to accommodate working adults.
  • Faculty members who are licensed clinicians active in private practice or clinical settings.
