The MBA program offered in JFK University's School of Management is a graduate business program for visionaries -- individuals who want to shape the future of business, bringing to it a holistic approach, a social conscience about that what is appropriate and a commitment to making the world a better place. And it is a dynamic MBA program that provides for personal, as well as professional, growth.

The MBA program will prepare you for whatever direction you wish to pursue - whether you want to advance in your current field or start on a new professional path. Our courses provide core training in practical business skills and a foundation in participatory leadership. You'll learn the latest business models and how to apply cutting edge tools effectively.

JFK University's MBA program offers a number of benefits making it distinctive from other graduate business programs.

  • Flexible Application Requirements. We are interested in the whole person - not just the one on paper. Each applicant is considered on his or her own merits, with previous professional experience valued as a part of what the student brings to the program. We accept GMAT scores; however, they are not required.

  • Specialization Options. Students can choose from the following specializations in the MBA program:

    • Leadership
    • Project Management
    • Strategic Management OR
      you can customize your own specialization to sync with your own career path.

  • Full-time or part-time at your own pace. Courses are offered every quarter year-round, during evening, weekends and/or online. Students complete the program at their own pace with the most completing the program in two years. A full-time student could complete the program in one year.

  • Experienced, dedicated faculty. About half of our faculty has doctorates and many have direct experience in their relevant areas of study. Click here to learn about our faculty.

  • Culturally diverse, supportive learning environment. The students in the MBA program come from a variety of background, enriched by unique life and career experiences. The small class sizes stimulate collaboration between students in the classroom, setting the stage for interactive dialogue and relationship building that often lasts beyond graduation.

Goals

The Masters in Business Administration Program (MBA) integrates progressive, innovative leadership principles, systems thinking strategies, global management practices, employee-centric and work-life balance principles, and sustainability concepts into the traditional MBA curriculum, creating a dynamic and practical educational opportunity for the 21st century professional.

It focuses on developing professionals who can:
  • Lead strategically with vision and integrity.
  • Problem solve and make decisions systemically, and by examining interdisciplinary viewpoints and alternative approaches.
  • Develop innovative business models that foster fiscal profitability while safeguarding the environment and enhancing the employees' work performance and experience.
  • Devise collaborative, knowledge-sharing organizational cultures, adaptive communication networks, and engaging, team-oriented workplace practices.
  • Manage a global, culturally diverse, and dispersed workforce via digital information and communication systems and virtual collaboration platforms.

Admissions Process

    Students are admitted each quarter. The application packet includes:

    • Completed application form and nonrefundable application fee;
    • A writing sample (guidelines are attached to the application form);
    • Official evidence of a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution for admission;
    • Resume of work experience

    The GMAT is not required; however, scores may be requested as part of an application package. International students should consult with the International Student Advisor in the Admissions department for additional requirements to apply for the MBA program.
