Non-profit Business Administrator

Administrators in nonprofit businesses may be responsible for a single function, such as finances or volunteers, or they may oversee the entire organization, including its management and operations. Similar to their for-profit counterparts, nonprofit business administrators must have highly developed personal skills, in addition to an analytical mind able to quickly assess the value of large amounts of information and data. They must also be able to consider and evaluate relationships among many factors on a daily basis while demonstrating leadership, self-confidence, motivation, decisiveness, flexibility, sound business judgment, and determination

The JFKU School of Management (SOM) offers programs and courses in business administration within an environment that embraces the increasing relevance and acceptance of diverse perspectives in the global marketplace and a firm commitment to ethical and socially responsible business practices. You’ll be well prepared for future business conditions that require advanced technological skills, cross-cultural collaboration, a greater understanding of human behavior, expertise in team building, and increased attention to environmental issues and concerns. SOM degree specializations include strategic management, e-commerce, leadership, and project management.
