JFK University’s Community Counseling Centers offer safe, confidential places to receive personal counseling and find support. The centers provide high quality mental health services at affordable rates.

Adults, children, couples and families can receive counseling for a wide variety of issues, including:

  • Parent education
  • Therapeutic groups
  • School-related issues
  • Alcohol and drug problems
  • Life transitions
  • Family conflicts
  • Divorce
  • Grief
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Incest and abuse
  • Sexuality

Staff
Counseling at the Centers is provided by caring, mature graduate students from the JFKU Graduate School of Professional Psychology. Counseling trainees and interns are supervised by professionals licensed in clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy and social work.

Appointments
Appointments are available weekdays or evenings. The centers are unable to accommodate walk-ins. They are wheelchair accessible.

Fees
Fees are on an affordable, sliding-scale; however, third-party payments cannot be accepted.

Referrals
Referrals will be made to other agencies for individuals who are acutely suicidal, potentially violent, suffering from severe psychiatric illness, or actively abusing drugs or alcohol.
