Supervisors must strive to develop a positive working relationship between themselves and their supervisees from the very beginning of the relationship. In this course, participants will learn useful supervision skills such as performing a learning assessment, understanding developmental stages of supervisors and supervisees, selecting appropriate supervision methods to use with your supervisees and important distinctions between supervision and psychotherapy. Case examples will illustrate effective ways to apply the ideas covered in the course.

This course meets the BBS & BOP requirements for those who supervise psychologists, MFT interns and ASWs.
