Taking Care of Business 2.0 JFK University's Continuing & Extended Education, the City of Pleasant Hill, the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce, and the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce are proud to join forces again for the 2nd Annual Conference Taking Care of Business 2.0. This year's theme is: "Leveraging Entrepreneurial Savvy at the Cross-Roads." Our program is scheduled from 8:00am-3:00pm on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at JFK University in Pleasant Hill, Ca. Based on last year's conference, we expect approximately 150 attendees for our 2008 program. Program Overview: You've started your own business, you've endured the 16-hour workdays, the eleventh-hour decision-making, and now you find yourself - and your company - on the cusp of transition ... all systems grow. Two keys to your next move are choosing a go-to market strategy that best fits your company's product or service, and addressing the limitations of cash, credit and existing resources. What's more, in our ever-evolving and increasingly competitive landscape of small-business development within a global arena, entrepreneurs must strategically address shifting trends and needs related to technology, demographics, the environment, economics, society, funding streams, and professional development. A business taking on a new growth strategy should be walking on steady legs, not looking for ways to avoid unresolved problems. So what's the best way to begin developing your company? Attend our one-day conference. TCOB 2.0 is a must-attend for anyone in or contemplating an entrepreneurial venture. Tentative panel and workshop topics include:
- Moderated Panel Session with representatives from Google and Semifreddi's Handcrafted Breads and Pastries
- Scenario Planning
- Guerilla Marketing
- Advanced Funding
- Cause Marketing
- Web-Based Marketing
- Developing Sustainable Organizational Culture
- Market Research
- eCommerce Implementation
