This course gives licensed mental health professionals first-hand experience in a partial hospitalization setting.

Participants will join in a standard day of treatment at Casa Serena, an intensive outpatient program for eating disorder patients in Concord, examining the experiences of both patients and staff. Staff members will lead participants through the intake process and introduce them to several aspects of treatment, including group therapy, multifamily group therapy, nutrition class, movement and yoga, and groups on body image issues, relationships, contracts, and meal eating.
