Course Description

Explores the higher and deeper dimensions of human experience.  Examines the nature, validity, development, and value of these extraordinary experiences from diverse disciplinary perspectives: psychology, philosophy, sociology, anthropology, religion.  Discusses the philosophical end empirical foundations of transpersonal psychology and the transpersonal principles used in counseling.  Theorists include Roberto Assagioli, Ken Wilber, Stanislav Grof, Francis Vaughn, A.H. Almaas, and John Welwood.
