Precilla L. Belin, PhD
John F. Kennedy University

Dr. Belin has a passion for education and a heart for students. One of her greatest joys is inspiring others to reach their highest potential. She has spent many years in the education arena and more than 15 years of developing, implementing, and evaluating health behavioral research projects as well as health initiatives among underserved populations. She implemented Tennessee's first breast cancer education project designed with and for African American women, Witnessing In Tennessee. Due to the overwhelming acceptance and success of the project, a component for African American men was developed focusing on prostate cancer screening and education. Dr. Belin is an adjunct faculty member and she teaches health sciences courses in the College of Undergraduate Studies.
