l recently completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California San Francisco in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics where l worked on molecular mechanisms of skeletal muscle fatigue and found the long sort after evidence for the super-relaxed state of cardiac muscle myosin. l was awarded my DPhil from Oxford University, UK. l worked with Prof Sir PJ Randle, FRS in the Nuffield Department of Clinical Biochemistry, Oxford University at the John Radcliffe Hospital on molecular mechanisms of the long term regulation of fuel metabolism in skeletal muscle, and in obesity and diabetes.
