Liz Burke joined JFKU in 2005 as adjunct faculty teaching writing, critical thinking, and research courses in the Core Curriculum at both the Pleasant Hill and Campbell campuses. In June 2007 she was selected as Outstanding Adjunct Faculty of the Year. Since 2008, she has served the University on the Executive Board of the Faculty Senate as a member of the Academic Standards & Curriculum Committee. In addition to serving as Faculty Senate Vice President 2009-2011, she has chaired the Professional Development Committee, Sabbatical Award Committee, Merit Award Committee, and the Fund for Innovation Review Committee.
