Jim TomtaniaAssociate Faculty College of Undergraduate Studies
Jim Tomtania holds a master's degree in International Affairs, with a concentration in Decision Making and Policy Analysis. A Pi Sigma Alpha honoree, he also studied French Public Law (Droit Public) at Université de Lomé.
Jim became an adjunct faculty member at John F. Kennedy University College of Undergraduate Studies in 2004. Prior to joining JFK University, Mr. Tomtania directed a Distance Learning infrastructure building project for Pitt Community College in North Carolina. His academic and professional work include authoring papers for the Naval Academy Foreign Affairs Conference, and serving as strategy director and interpreter for several NGOs with short-term projects in the French Caribbean and French-speaking Africa. Areas of work range from socio-economic infrastructure development, business process reviews (business ethnography), to trade negotiations.
Currently, Mr. Tomtania is a Treasury Management Consultant with Wells Fargo Bank, where he provides expertise in ecommerce technology, treasury management sales, international trade, and global banking. Jim is fluent in several foreign languages and is a member of the Academy of Political Science and the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP).
