Over eighteen years of experience in teaching college, adult school ground and online classes. I have over twenty years of business experience in corporate training, business course development, public speaking, applied economics research, private banking, commercial and residential real estate lending, credit underwriting, project management and managerial supervision. I have taught or trained over 7500 adult learners and corporate employees since 1992. I also served as an Economics Department Chair with responsibilities of mentoring faculty, issuing faculty evaluations, enforcing university policies and resolving student grievances. I possess excellent management, presentation, people skills and am fully capable of using 21st century technology to enhance the learning experience.
I'm passionate about teaching and helping adult learners achieve their dreams. I have dealt with students of all ages, ethnic, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Logic, commonsense, trust, respect for all points of view, and encouraging academic curiosity have always been the cornerstones of my professional instructional belief system. I also desire to expand and perfect my knowledge in other subject matter areas in order to become a more valued faculty professional. Target areas would include advanced managerial accounting, tax courses, calculus, software training, world history and attaining the NASD Series 7 license.
