Program Director.

Professor Solt has taught Sport Psychology as Life Skills, Performance Enhancement, Group Process, Optimal Performance, and Adolescents in Sports. She currently oversees the Sport Psychology Program at JFK University. Her professional focus has been on work with children in sports. She developed the LEAP program in 1996. LEAP has become the cornerstone of the fieldwork experience for the students.

She designed and implemented the MA/PSYD Clinical Sport Psychology Program. She was Faculty Senate president from 1993-1995. She was acting Dean at GSPP from March 2006-October 2006. She began the work with at-risk youth at the challenge camp at Oren Allen Rehabilitation Center in 1993. She was director of Sport Psychology conferences at JFK University from 1989-1995. She has had a private practice in sport psychology from 1987-present.

She has worked with many athletes and teams including the UC Davis tennis team. She has presented at AASP conferences, appeared on TV, given many professional presentations, interviewed for radio shows, interviewed by magazines and newspapers. She has been a member of Association for Applied Sport Psychology since 1987. She has been a board member of Community Violence Solutions Board and the Jr. League of Oakland/East Bay. She was Director of Continuing and Extended Education from 1998-2006.
