Ms. Theresa Raymer Wildt is head of the Couple and Family Therapy specialization in Campbell, and serves as an interim core faculty member in the Santa Cruz/Central Coast Cohort as well as in Campbell. She as been involved with the MA Counseling Program at JFK University since 1999, sharing her enthusiasm, knowledge and encouragement with students who are committed to learning how to work clinically with children, couples and families. As a Professor, Ms. Raymer Wildt teaches such courses as, Systemic Theory and Family Therapy, Couples Therapy, Specific Theories of Change with focuses on the work of John Gottman and Structural Theory, Brief Therapy, The Family Life Cycle, and the Use of Self as Family Therapist. In addition to teaching in Campbell and Santa Cruz, Ms. Wildt often teaches for the Berkeley cohort.
Ms. Raymer Wildt earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees at the University of Oregon before relocating to the Bay Area in 1985 and building an esteemed reputation as clinician through her private practice in Oakland and Walnut Creek, California. In 1992 she began teaching as an adjunct instructor at JFK University. Prior to becoming a core faculty member in Campbell, Ms. Raymer Wildt was a faculty member of the MA Counseling Psychology (MACP) program at City University in Bellevue, Washington where she held the position of Senior Faculty and Graduate Programs Director/School of Arts and Sciences.
