Graduate Certificate in Sport Psychology

JFK University's online Graduate Certificate in Sport Psychology is designed to give athletes, professionals in the mental health, sport and fitness arenas, and others, knowledge in the areas of sport and exercise psychology, sport physiology, kinesiology, and nutrition.

This certificate provides eligible psychologists, marriage & family therapists, and sport psychology consultants the necessary coursework required to apply for Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) certification.

PSP 5800B - Sport Psychology B (2 units)*
PSP 5815 - Performance Enhancement A (3 units)
PSP 5816 - Performance Enhancement B (3 units)
PSP 5817 - Performance Enhancement C (1-3 units)*
PSP 5833 - Kinesiology (4 units)
PSP 5819 - Social and Historical Issues in Sport (4 units)

Total units required: 20

* Students starting in Fall quarter will take Sport Psychology B for 2 units and Performance Enhancement for 1 unit to complete the program in one year and fulfill AASP requirements.  Students starting in Spring Quarter will take Performance Enhancement for 3 units.
