As an integral member of the Sport Psychology faculty team, Sara oversees the Solt Evans LEAP Project, the Sport Psychology Program's community outreach effort. In this role, she sets up internships at local high schools, supervises interns, writes grants, and directs the summer camp (the first internship experience for the in-residence students). She is also an adjunct faculty member, teaching the Performance Enhancement A and B, and Team Building classes both online and onsite. She oversees the online course development for the program as well.
Sara is an alumna of the JFK University Sport Psychology Program and works as a Mental Skills Coach in the Bay Area, specializing in work with youth and adolescent athletes. She works with teams and individuals in a number of sports, including gymnastics, soccer, baseball, volleyball, cheerleading, and swimming. She also presents coach and parent workshops, and is a regular contributor to SportingKid Magazine. Outside of work Sara spends as much time with her family as possible.
