An independent consultant to museums, artists, and cultural organizations, Ms. Eriksen is currently serving as the director for the California Association of Museum's IMLS-funded Leaders of the Future: Museum Professionals Developing Strategic Foresight training project. Previously, she was the Director of Education and Public Programs at the California Historical Society where she was responsible for initiating, implementing, and coordinating all educational outreach and nurturing programmatic partnerships throughout California. She has also served as the Executive Director of the California Exhibition Resources Alliance and as the Museum Program Coordinator for the California Council for the Humanities. She currently serves at the Regional Chair of National Leadership Team for the American Association for State and Local History. In 2008, she received the Alumni of the Year award from John F. Kennedy University.
