Ms. Fall Ferguson, MA, JDProgram Chair College of Graduate and Professional Studies
Fall Ferguson, JD, MA, is a health educator, writer, and health activist. She teaches full-time in the graduate Health Education program. Ferguson’s legal background enables her to bring a policy and community lens to her chosen field of health education.
She recently (2012-15) served as the President of the Association for Size Diversity and Health, an international non-profit organization promoting inclusive approaches to health, and continues to serve as the Chair of Public Policy, overseeing advocacy efforts and policy briefings for the group. She writes and teaches on a range of health education and health policy issues, including health equity; educational methods; community, culture, and health; the “collective body;" the Health At Every Size (HAES) approach; and holistic approaches to working with body image.
She is a member of the American Public Health Association, the Society for Public Health Education, the National Wellness Institute, and the Association for Size Diversity and Health.
