Karen Sjoholm has exhibited nationally and internationally and has worked as an administrator and educator at various Bay Area art institutions for over fifteen years. Her art work, which includes artists books, installation, ceramics and mixed media is focused on issues of memory, spirituality, and the environment. She is a member of the Society for the Arts in Healthcare, the College Book Arts Association and International Expressive Arts Therapy Association. She has served as a faculty consultant at the Judah Magnes Museum in Berkeley, CA and has organized exhibitions at the Flora Lamson Hewlett Library-Graduate Theological Institute in Berkeley, California and the Richmond Art Center Community Gallery in Richmond, California.
