A&C5361 Beyond the Studio: Community Collaboration B

Course Description

A two-quarter sequence of courses facilitating inquiries into the ways in which art and arts organizations work with the larger community. In the second quarter (part B), students undertake community projects through which their individual work as artists is translated into a specific activity that serves the community in some manner. Affiliations and internships with community arts organizations are a part of the course. Individual choice of appropriate venues and activities is strongly emphasized. Assigned reading and comunity project. Prerequisites: A&C 5360 Community Collaboration A. Offered Winter MATA requirement MFA elective.
