Ms. Gail Kinsley-DameFaculty College of Graduate and Professional Studies
Ms. Kinsley-Dame has been teaching for the University since 1989, and became the Program Director in 2004 with oversight over the Berkeley, Campbell, Pleasant Hill, and Santa Cruz/Central Coast programs and the two community counseling centers in Pleasant Hill and Sunnyvale. As a Professor, she currently teaches Clinical Skills B and C, Group Theory and Practice, Specific Theories of Change: Bowen Family Systems, and various seminars in the practice of marriage and family therapy.
In addition to her role as Program Director, Ms. Kinsley-Dame has provided clinical supervision to trainees at the John F. Kennedy Community Counseling Center in Pleasant Hill. As a California licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, she maintains a private practice in Walnut Creek, California, and works to bring the richness of her clinical practice into her teaching. Her professional focus includes an emphasis on couple therapy. Ms. Kinsley-Dame is an active member of CAMFT as well as a Clinical Member of AAMFT.
