Margaret Kadoyama's thirty years in the museum profession embrace extensive experience in community involvement, audience development, and education programming. Her professional roles have included museum director, audience developer, educator, consultant, and curator in museums in California, Arizona, and Texas. She is principal of Margaret Kadoyama Consulting, specializing in community involvement planning, program development and assessment, and audience development plans, with an emphasis on audience- and community-centered approaches. She teaches Museums and Communities at John F. Kennedy University. She is active nationally, serving as chair of sessions at regional and national conferences, and publishing articles in regional and national professional journals.
