PYC1100 Introduction to Psychology

Course Description

A survey of the field of psychology as it relates to an understanding of human behavior.

Learning Outcomes

  1. The student will be able to describe the critical developments that led to the present discipline of psychology.
  2. The student will be able to contrast and compare three major "schools" of psychology with their present applications.
  3. The student will be able to describe and apply psychological theory in some area of his/her life.
