JFK University Law Clinic Partners to Offer Pro Bono Wills Clinic

PLEASANT HILL, CA - JFK University College of Law's Legal Clinic for Elders has partnered with Contra Costa Senior Legal Services (CCSLS) to offer a new service, the Pro Bono Wills Clinic. This Clinic provides free simple wills, Advance Health Care Directives, and Durable Powers of Attorney to low-income residents ages 60 and over.

JFK University among Top Schools Awarded Federal Grant to Train Mental Health Professionals

PLEASANT HILL, CA –John F. Kennedy University has received a grant of $467,982, renewable over three years for a total of $1.4 million, from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to train mental health providers. The grant will provide students in the University's MA Counseling Psychology programs with annual stipends of $10,000 for completing practicum hours at the University's three Community Counseling Centers in Concord, Oakland, and Sunnyvale.
