Join the JFK University’s Institute of Entrepreneurial Leadership (IEL) as it honors outstanding world-class entrepreneurial leaders as part of the Third Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Ceremony to be held May 16, 2014 at the Blackhawk Auto Museum in Danville.
The program will begin at 11:30 am with a “Shark Tank” type new business pitch by the three finalists in IEL’s regional competitions this past year. The audience will vote on the best business pitch and winners will receive financial and mentoring assistance as part of the program.
During the luncheon, the following entrepreneurial leaders will be honored:
Chuck Smith Award for Global Entrepreneurship
Jean Charles Boisset, President of Boisset Family Estates and
Gina Gallo, Chief Winemaker of E.&J. Gallo Winery
Chuck Smith Award for Global Corporate Leadership
Tim Harden, President of AT&T Supply Chain and Fleet Operations
Chuck Smith Lifetime of Civic Leadership Award
Clint Hill, Secret Service Agent for Jacqueline Kennedy, Best-Selling Author
Book signings will be held at the event from 11-11:30 am and from 2-2:30 pm by:
Dr. Raul Deju, Director of IEL, with his book Planet in Conflict;
Bill Wiersma, Adjunct Faculty at IEL with his book, The Power of Professionalism
