Undergraduate Advisor, Office of the Registrar, John F. Kennedy University, Pleasant Hill campus. The position is a Grade 5/Non-Exempt, regular, full time position that includes vacation and sick leave accruals as well as a flexible benefit plan offering medical, dental, 403(b) retirement eligibility, long term disability, dependent care, basic life and AD&D insurance and tuition waiver benefits upon meeting eligibility requirements.

The requirements for this position include: a bachelor’s degree; experience working with the public in a service-oriented setting (experience in an academic setting highly desirable); proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite; excellent oral and written communication skills. Additional requirements include problem-solving skills; the ability to interpret, apply and explain university policies clearly; and the ability to work on multiple projects under pressure and meet deadlines in a busy environment with frequent interruptions.

Responsibilities of the Undergraduate Advisor are to advise prospective and current students, college staff, faculty and outside agencies about university policies and procedures. This position completes assignments as requested by the Registrar and assists with Commencement.

The successful candidate will be an energetic individual with college/university experience who is able to work effectively with a diverse, adult constituency.
