The College of Graduate and Professional Studies is currently seeking a creative academic leader with both educational and business experience for the position of Chair for the Master in Business Administration Program. Responsibilities include teaching, student advising, curricula review and recruiting for and promoting the program through community involvement, networking and informational meetings to increase student enrollment.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in Business Administration (doctoral degree highly preferred), experience working with adult students with diverse backgrounds and an understanding of the roles of fulltime and adjunct faculty in higher education, the ability to develop and lead a wide variety of large-scale educational marketing and development strategies for the College’s Master’s program, and the following additional qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of marketing and recruitment
- Strong interpersonal and administrative skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of educational curriculum and development
- A commitment to diversity in all aspects of the educational process
- Demonstrated experience as a team player
- Communicate well with prospective students
- A valid California Driver’s License
This is a full-time, exempt, twelve-month position with competitive benefits, tuition waiver and retirement eligibility. The salary is commensurate with experience.
